शहापूर विधानसभा निवडणुकीसाठी महायुतीतील राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पार्टी दौलत भिका दरोडा यांना उमेदवारी दिली आहे, तर महाविकास आघाडीतील राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पार्टी – शरदचंद्र पवार बरोरा पांडुरंग महादू यांना उमेदवार म्हणून निवडलं आहे. २०१९ च्या विधानसभा निवडणुकीत राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस चे उमेदवार दौलत भिका दरोडा यांनी विजय मिळवला होता.
