पाकिस्तान आणि चीन या देशांमधील आर्थिक पट्ट्याचा(कॉरिडॉअर) विकास करण्यासाठी नेमण्यात आलेल्या संयुक्त समितीच्या नावावरून सध्या ट्विटरवर चर्चेला प्रचंड उधाण आले आहे. ‘पाकिस्तान टुडे’च्या माहितीनूसार या समितीचा उल्लेख RANDI (रिसर्च अँण्ड डेव्हलपमेंट इंटरनॅशनल) असा होतो. हिंदी भाषेत वेश्यांसाठी किंवा शिवीवाचक अर्थाने हा शब्द वापरण्यात येत असल्याने अनेकांना चर्चेसाठी आयते खाद्य मिळाले आहे. हे वृत्त समजल्यानंतर ट्विटरवर प्रतिक्रियांचा इतका ओघ होता की, #RANDI हा शब्द काही काळासाठी चक्क ट्रेंडमध्ये आला होता. ट्विटरकरांनी या प्रकारावर व्यक्त केलेल्या काही मोजक्या प्रतिक्रिया पुढीलप्रमाणे:
