Prithviraj Chavan speaks at Badalata Maharashtra event

A two-day conference on the current state of education in India was held at the Vivanta hotel in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai on 2nd & 3rd August 2013. Several experts in the field discussed various issues in the field of education.
The event, titled ‘Badalata Maharashtra (The Changing Maharashtra)’ was a collaborated initiative by Marathi daily Loksatta and the Saraswat Bank, which recently entered its 95th year.
The opening address was delivered by Loksatta editor Girish Kuber, Saraswat Bank chairman Eknath Thakur and Symbiosis International University founder and Padma Bhushan recipient Dr S B Mujumdar. The clossing address delivered by Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chawan.
