I lost my dad when I was 13 years old – RJ Malishka

At Loksatta’s Viva Lounge event someone asked RJ Malishka what was the turning point in her life. Malishka said that she lost her dad when she was 13 years old and it was the biggest turning point of her life. Soon after that, a lot of responsibility rested on her shoulders. “My mom had to take care of everything. I was small but I realised that I must take some responsibility. I wanted to work in media and buy a house. My mom let us (my sister and me) do what we wanted to do.” Malishka said she was very happy with the way her life has turned out.
